This section of the web site is devoted to Sun Ship's "Our Yard" Magazines. Through our efforts and with help from friends of the society, we have been able to acquire all 282 issues of the magazine, which were published monthly from Sept. of 1941 through Feb. of 1965.
Within these pages, there is a wealth of information about the Yard, the employees, their families and others. We hope you will enjoy reminiscing our Sun Ship history within these pages.
The scanned magazines will appear in .pdf format and maybe slow to download. In addition. All of the magazine covers are available for viewing , we have put together all of the magazine cover pages.
Our special thanks to volunteer Brian Shantz for his tremendous effort in helping us scan the SSHS 'Our Yard' magazine collection.
